His children, Irene Knauf of Moundridge, KS, Michael and wife Steffanie of Atchison, KS, Kristy Spoon and Husband Joe of Newton, KS, Barbara Stahl and Husband Don of Hesston, KS, Rachel Newsom of Walton, KS, Claude the 3rd of Newton, KS, & Leah Juszyk and Husband Kevin of Omaha, NE, 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Jim is survived by wife Debra, sisters Brenda Fugett, of Turkey Creek, Kentucky, and Barbara Nickel of Montana. We provide Yokohama tires to customers in Newton, KS, Halstead, KS, and Hesston, KS.
Jim was also an avid shooter and gun enthusiast. The Newton Kansan is a newspaper that serves Newton and Harvey County, Kansas. He liked working in the garden and orchard, enjoying the fruits of his labor. Jim worked for Johns Manville before retiring to tend the farm. Jim was born on 11 November 1946, in Williamson, West Virginia. Jim was preceded in death by his Father(Claude James, Sr.), Mother (Frances), Brother (Gary), and Daughter (Debra Ann). Claude James (Jim) Honaker, Jr, age 75, of Newton, KS, passed on the morning February 26, 2022, surrounded by family and loved ones.
